Brett Smith – Chicken Tender

A native of Wappingers Falls, New York, Smitty first came to Colorado to ski—but he stayed to cook! He worked his way up the ranks of Jax Fish House and Zolo Southwestern Grill in Boulder and then spent four years as the Executive Chef of Zozo’s Restaurant on Saint John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. When he came back home to Colorado he took the reins at Zolo once again and in 2014 teamed up with Dave Query and Bryan Selders to open The Post Brewing Company in Lafayette.

When he’s not behind the burners of The Post, Smitty enjoys swimming, hiking, and grilling with his wife and kids. He also started a benefit for the Autism Society of Boulder County, called The Jack Ferrigno Send a Kid to Camp Grant, which raises money every year to send area kids in need to summer camp.

Sarah Ingraham – General Manager

You’d be hard-pressed to find a stronger advocate of the powers of The Post than Sarah. For her, the brewery is more than the sum of its parts—not just a place to get some delicious food or catch up with friends over a refreshing beer, but a home-away-from-home to anyone who walks in the door. Born and raised on a dairy farm in rural Maine, she made her way to Colorado via Eckerd College in Florida, Washington State, and Wyoming. As soon as she found out that the Big Red F was opening a brewery, she knew she had to be a part of it and she’s worked her way up the ranks from server to events coordinator to AGM to GM. She might get overly excited when she talks about The Post—and her infatuation with Big Rosie Porter might be borderline obsessive—but she loves what she does and it shows.

When she’s not making guests feel at home at The Post, you’ll find Sarah hanging out with her friends and her dog Frank, hiking, skiing, going to the spa, making jewelry, and sipping on some ice-cold beer.

Chelsea Carlton – Sales & Catering Manager

The child of foodies, Chelsea Carlton worked in restaurants throughout her high school years in Garrison, New York (where, fun fact, she attended prom with freaking Drake). After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in textile design, she quickly realized that she didn’t love the process of selling her own art. She took a job with a catering company in New York and soon found that her passion for good design, good people, and good parties made her a great fit for the world of culinary event planning. That passion led Chelsea to Colorado in 2014, where she’s continued to grow her career and plan large-scale events for clients including Twitter, Dead & Company, Sterling-Rice Group, Land Rover, and many more. As Big Red F’s Sales & Catering Manager, Chelsea loves that she gets to provide top-notch eats and hospitality for a wide range of folks.

When she’s not working, you can find Chelsea searching for the perfect pho joint, noshing on strawberry Pop-Tarts® (the un-iced variety, thank you very much), camping, hiking, skiing, and hanging out with her family.
