Dry-hopped Saison of Sorts
ABV 6%

Èfite is a singular ale brewed with floor malted Bohemian Pils malt, toasted coriander and fermented with yeast from La Chouffe. The beer has been hopped exclusively (including dry-hopping) with an experimental new dwarf hop variety called ADHA871 which I am testing for the ADHA breeding program. The hop will receive a proper name soon, I’ve been informed. The 6% ABV saison-ish beer has a compelling aroma rich with yeast-born spicy notes, toasted coriander and a hop aroma redolent of herbs, lemon and pine. The flavor yields spice and hop notes supported by a soft malt base and a light tartness which finishes dry, with a pleasant lingering bitterness.

Èfite was brewed with our friend Ian Clark, who is brewmaster, chef and owner of Bru Handbuilt Ales and Eats in Boulder. This beer is the official beer for the Flatirons Food Film Festival.
